Tsurayuki Rokuonji (鹿苑寺 貫之, Rokuonji Tsurayuki) is one of the main characters of the series. He is a resident of Share House Kitayama.
Appearance[]
Tsurayuki has dark brown hair and hazel color eyes.
He wears a tan dress jacket over a red v-shaped neck shirt with a yellow collar, dark brown dress jeans and brown dress shoes.
Personality[]
Tsurayuki has no moral principles. However, when he's in class, Tsurayuki gives outstanding answers to the questions he's asked, surprising everyone around him. Although displaying a lazy nature, he is a genius in making scripts. Despite how he acts, he is actually talented in scenario writing, and will put the effort in for his scripts for class. He's also very creative when coming up with scenerio's for his writing.
He and Nanako like to tease each other and Tsurayuki does have a sense of humor such as when he teased Kyoya the morning he met him.
Background[]
Tsurayuki is the son of the Rokuonji family, a prominent family that owns several large hospitals in the Tokyo metropolitan area. He comes from a wealthy background and from a small town of Kawagoe where everyone knows his family, and he felt stifled creatively.
In the present time, he is known as a popular light novel writer under the penname Kyouichi Kawagoe (川越 京一, Kawagoe Kyōichi).

Sayuri is Tsurayuki's fiancée and childhood friend.
Nanako Kogure[]
Nanako is a friend and as him she lives in the same house. Tsurayuki likes to tease Nanako but she doesn't like it and often punch him as an answer.

- The name Tsurayuki means "pierce, 8 1/3lbs, penetrate, brace" (貫) (tsura) and "this" (之) (yuki).
- Tsurayuki's surname Rokuonji means "deer, venison" (鹿) (roku), "garden, farm, park" (苑) (on) and "temple" (寺) (ji).
Pen Name[]
- The name Kyouichi means "capital city" (京) (kyou) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- Kyouichi's surname Kawagoe means "river, stream" (川) (kawa) and "surpass, cross over, move to, exceed, Vietnam" (越) (goe).
